Last week in May, acrylic on canvas, 60sq.cm. A friend commenting on it on my website says it must be so-called after my garden at the end of May. These are warm colours, so not really. I’ve used Terre Verte, one of the stranger names for a colour. You can see it clearly top right in the double stripe of watery dark green.

A painting of mine from about five years ago, called Stopping by Woods.
I came in contact again last month in upper New York, US, and it was like
seeing a long lost friend again, nothing to do with its merits or otherwise,
just a happy reunion with whatever it is and wherever in me it arose out of.
